My Little Disclaimer

I’m the kind of person who has to look up how long and at what temperature to bake chicken every single time I go to make it. I’m also the family member who is notoriously known for burning popcorn. Needless to say, cooking doesn’t come naturally to me.

That’s why I have become obsessed with finding simple, healthy, and easy to make recipes that literally anyone could fit into their diet. Being a college student for the last 5 years has also forced me to figure out how to maintain a healthy diet while being at school with limited time and limited resources.

The recipes I’ll be posting on this blog are just that – simple and healthy.  I don’t like to get fancy because 1) I don’t have much room in my fridge at school for ingredients 2) I don’t have much time 3) I like to keep things basic and 4) I’m not very skilled at cooking fancy things (as highlighted by sentences 1&2).

The catch is that most people equate simple recipes with dull taste. And that’s definitely not the case. I hope to share and show people how delicious clean, healthy meals are and how to incorporate them into your every day lives. It’s worked for me over the last few years and I hope it can work for you as well!

So in the future, be on the lookout for some great tasting recipes and if you try any of them out let me know what you think!
